Its always sad to see them go. Bit like losing a bollock...you know you can carry on, but it'd be nicer to have it.

I sold my XJR1300 on Thursday (buyer came all the way from Ireland to buy it eek). I was sorry to see it go as I had it for 5 years. It's a little different for me as I have my Duke so I still have a bike. Always feel a bit of sadness when I sell a car or bike I've enjoyed owning though.

Bit dramatic isn't it, I mean you can always buy another bike......

ok..poor analogy. Although i did have a friend who lost a ball in my presence. Picture the scene.. 2 x seven year olds riding bicycles, except one of them didn’t have a seat.

Catso...im loving your Duke. beer

Just when the better weather's coming too....
How did you both manage to sell you bikes BTW, tried unsuccessfully to sell my Sprint ST last year.
Not sure if I am simply too far north (Isle of Skye)or if it was too pricy {99 (T)@£2600} .
Seems like millions of bikes pass my door touring the island but no one wants to buy one up here.
(selling cos of young son/weather=lack of use)
(would consider older "classic" p/x)
