Well thats it , bikes gone to a new owner in scotland (nice road for it to play on), leathers are hung up helmet tucked away in its PH helmet bag , no more biking for a while , its been a blast but i need a break form it and i wasnt using the bike enough anyway , i will be back though ...... going to have to be on a ZX12R though

I sold my XJR1300 on Thursday (buyer came all the way from Ireland to buy it
). I was sorry to see it go as I had it for 5 years. It's a little different for me as I have my Duke so I still have a bike. Always feel a bit of sadness when I sell a car or bike I've enjoyed owning though.

Sorry to hear it Denny, glad to hear you'll be back though.
Steve.
Just when the better weather's coming too....
How did you both manage to sell you bikes BTW, tried unsuccessfully to sell my Sprint ST last year.
Not sure if I am simply too far north (Isle of Skye)or if it was too pricy {99 (T)@£2600} .
Seems like millions of bikes pass my door touring the island but no one wants to buy one up here.
(selling cos of young son/weather=lack of use)
(would consider older "classic" p/x)
