more air please

was looking for ways to increase the air intake on my s3, has anyone gone down the line of turbo's or superchargers etc. may no be worth bothering about but i need a new project

I'm thinking nitrous would be more in keeping with the behavior of the S, just imagine the angle of the bonnet when of full injection

There have been some *very* nice Cosworth conversions over the last few years, Lee Knieriem (sorry Lee if I spelt that wrong) put a blower on a V6 S and I've proved that it can be done on a V8. Joolz (TrackCarSolutions) is taking the turbo route.

had a look on the caprisport website, will give them a phone on monday as they look to have converted a few 2.9's in the past. gonna try and reposition the air intake to get it away from the radiator anyway, but the supercharger idea looks good, may be space issues though??

would it not be easier to get a cold air feed pipe from the bonnet to the filter instead of moving all the air intake controls & pipes ?

I'm not sure what benefit you will get from this though other than a snappy response to the accelerator

However if you go blower route - that'll be interesting
