Just booked the ferry but finding somewhere to sleep is somewhat problematic!

Any of you PH chaps/chapettes have a bit of garden available on the IOM for practice week to put up a couple of 2-man tents?

Pleeeeaaase?

Have you had a look on the iomtt.com website? The accomodation section on the message board is pretty good, plenty of options on there.

Yeah, I've been having a look. Most of the decent campsites are full. I'm less keen to stay at a football club or suchlike - I'm a bit old for all night rowdiness amongst hundreds of tents.

£10 pppn is a bit of a ripoff too, for space on a football pitch.

I'm in Colby if you fancy it ?

Garage has beer fridge, spare beer fridge, loo, washer, sink, freezer, kettle, satellite TV, hi fi, underfloor heating etc.

you'll have to sleep beside Gina though (refer profile pic).

steam train to Douglas/Port Erin stops at the bottom of the garden.

may even be able to hire out the 5 man, Le Mans tent, bbq etc.

I managed to arrange camping in someone's back garden, but I thank you for your offer. I wouldn't have minded sharing with Gina!

Baldrine.

Just glad to have sorted the arrangements. It was on-agian, off-again for so long, and I really wouldn't have wanted to miss out on the centenary.

Nice place. Driven through it a few times on the way to Laxey and no doubt head up there again this year. I'm staying at a place about 2 miles down the road in Onchan.

The Centenary is going to be something quite special!
