Classic & Sportscar Spring Cruise 31/5/07
Discussion
Hello everyone, Just thought I list an event that I've organised for the last five years that some of you might be interested in:
It's called the Annual "Petrolheads" Classic & Sportscar Spring Cruise - and it starts from Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands 0n Thursday the 31st May - where we register and get our Monte Carlo rally style plaque.
Then it's off to a private section of the building for bacon rolls and coffee. After this we have a look around the latest cars on display, as well take in the historic collection - which is promised to be the Silver Arrows racing cars that are on their way over from Stuttgart.
After this, at 10am we make our way down to the New Forest, and into the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, where we have our own private parking area outside the Brabazon restaurant. We then go into the restaurant for lunch, followed by a leisurely look around the fabulous Museum.
At 4pm, we are honoured to have Lord Montagu himself, who will be judging the best three cars in "our" car park, and he will be presenting the lucky winners with a trophy.
This is all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, and the cost including all meals and museum entry is £60.00 for car & driver, and £30.00 per passenger. Last year we had over seventy cars in attendance, and over one hundred people - with cars ranging from Porches, Ferrari's, TVR's, Aston Martins, Morgans, MGA's,NSX's, Triumph's and some American Muscle Cars.
This event is supported by the following Car magazines: 911 Porsche World, Japanese Performance, Triumph World, American Car World, Ultra VW, Jaguar world And Classic Car weekly.
If you would like to be part of this fun-day out, contact me at rephotopublishingltd@btinternet.com with your name and address details and I'll send you a booking form.
Thanks for looking,
Phil
