Ex-Foggy 916 - zero miles

Me thinks that he won't be getting what he thinks he's going to get......

Seems strange to sell this online, I reckon a specialist auction such as Coys etc would have been a better bet.

Updated to state it's under offer though
Lots of money and I'd sooner have a 1098S personally. But there are a lot of serious collectors with serious money out there, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets that sort of money. To be fair, how many special edition 9** Dukes with zero miles are out there nowadays? I'd say the guy on PH classifieds selling an OWO1 for over £14K is more of a joker. Great bike, and one of my favourites TBH, but never worth that money nowadays as it was never that successful, like the RC30 was.

OWO1 is rocking horse sh!t on 2 wheels , the above is a 2 wheeled fiat with stickers owned by a bloke with a pub fight glare .
Yeah, very rare I know - although the seller has 2. They're not that hard to find. The Duke I admit is not one I ever liked - I prefer the standard paint (although I did like the Bostrom rep). As for being a 2 wheeled Fiat - I won't bother to respond to that

No disrespect but i cant get emotional about a bike that breaks down all the time just because its made in italy .
sorry about the 2 wheeled fiats comment but its what my dad refers to them as after owning one many years ago , and oddly enough it going constantly wrong

Many years ago.......that could be a 70's Ducati.......in which case it's a bit unfair to compare with a modern era Duke.....

That's like calling a new Ford Mondeo a 'Dagenham Dustbin' just 'cos it's got a Ford badge on it.....

Sheez.....

So that will be why my mates 996 was forever breaking down with electrical problems ,
now has an aprillia and reckons its a far better bike.
you'll probably find that unless you're 100% sure of what you're looking for, several bits from the bike that foggy actually rode will not be being sold with/on this bike, the ECU being a classic example, along with the forks, etc. Most superbike forks are leased from ohlins, etc, etc. £15k with no provenance is an expensive 916 SPS. Why not sell it through bonhams or coys as has been mentioned?

It's just a Fogarty replica limited edition bike, like the Senna edition. His name is just on the V5 I'm guessing probably because he was given it by Ducati.
