Jacking Points?

Where are you meant to jack a Cerbera? Are the out riggers okay as jacking points?

Correct point is right at the extreme corner of the out-riggers, where there is a tube is at right angles, a triangular plate joins the two, jack it up at this point.
If your using axle stands, jack it up further along the outriggers, just far enough along so you can fit the stand onto that triangular plate.

Used to always jack my Griff up using the triangular plates near the wheels where the outriggers meet the cross tubes and not long after started to get milking in the windscreen. Whether this was just coincidnece or the body flexing I can't be sure. But with the pittiful supply of Cerbera windscreens I don't risk it. For me two planks under he front wheels and a trolley fack in the centre of the front chassis cross member to lift it square.
Probaly worrying about nothing just remembnert being off the road for 2 months waiting for a screen.

2 months? Does this imply that screens *are* available? I thought they currently weren't available at all.

Don't know current supply situation, I had mine changed in May 2006 but supply was scarce then god knows what's going to happen now.

I replaced my screen in December. At that time there were two available in the UK that I could find anywhere after lots of ringing around. One was heated, one was normal but with a tinted sunstrip, which is the one I took.
