Has anybody out there fitted a central locking kit to an S2? And if so, who made the kit & does it work well? It is a definite sign of lazyness when you can't be bothered to lean over & un-lock the passenger door!

Most are usually coupled with an alarm... so that's probably the best way to do it...

The questions no longer relevant! I've just taken the door trim off the passenger side to adjust the closing height of the window & learned lots. For a start I now know that you don't have to take the door trim off to adjust the height of the electric window, you can do it through the speaker mounting hole Anyway, it wasn't a waste of time cos I found there is a central locking motor in there, it just doesn't work! The motor is fine, it's just not getting any current when the driver side lock is actuated. So more investigation with a multi-meter required.
Cheers for the advice.
P.S. Has anybody got a wiring diagram for an S2 with central locking? The one in the Bible is no good 'cos thats for 5 wire units & the one in the pasenger door is only 2 wire!

The one in the bible is the official one and the only one I have seen. Central locking was often an afterthought fit by the dealer when they fitted the alarm so it could be almost anything!
