Going by the photos the car looks to be in mint condition. They are also rare. Combine these two facts and the price as advertised doesn't sound so silly. Remember how much 993 RS/ 964 RS etc are selling for and this may not sound quite so daft after all.

This is bad advice. At resale time saying that you spent all that cash will mean nothing when you are offered 22k for it. I've seen two guards red cars in simillar condition for 26k and 30K with simillar miles over the last 5 months.
This car should have a severe wallet health warning on it.
Just to clarify it is one of the 42 genuine UK RHD 965 3.6 turbo's.
The car was sold previously by Paragon and purchased from a very good friend of mine.
The car was mint and I guess still is. Steve only sold the car due to redundancy and two years of unemployment.
Value is only a perception of what you the buyer is willing to pay. If I were looking to sell my 3.6 turbo it would have to be a minimum £50K. Turbo 4's have changed hands for £65K and IMHO do not hold a candle to the 3.6's. Paragon just sold a 993RS with mileage in the 30's for £65K that will be retailed by another dealer for £80K. That seems ludicrous for a car that never made its 308bhp and was far, far heavier than its stated weight.
If you want to own the last of the true bread of 911 turbo's then you'll struggle to find a better car. Get your plastic out and enjoy
p.s. Paragon bought this car about a year ago and paid Steve £31K

Its a rare car.
Its an even rarer colour.
.
not that rare. as far as i can see its a standard 964 turbo. ok so its blue. and in good nick. and...?
You don't know your porker models as well as you think then.
RHD 3.6 (not the 3.3) Turbo's are extremely rare...I'll let someone with more time explain why
Ones in maritime I'd guess even rarer as I've not seen many ever!
I like it. I like it a lot. I'm a bit dismayed that they managed to bag it a year ago for 31. 31-42 in 12 months with a second bit at the cherry seems opportunistic, though Paragon have never exactly been the cheapest (usually nice stock, though) - the original seller must have been anxious to get shot of it, and Paragon must have thought all their Christmasses and Birthdays had come together.
What would be a fair price for it?
What would be a fair price for it?
I went to look at this car Saturday..trust me its not mint...it looks like the Celebrity Ice Skating programme was filmed on the bonnet, the wheels are corroding around the bolts and the last time anyone cleaned under the engine cover must of been when it was new..nice car and i would love one..wants another 3k spent on it to get it perfect..and at 42k it should be perfect.
(anyone tell me why people let cars like this go to the trade to even give them a chance to take the piss?)

I guess £41K for what is to all intents and purposes an "old" car now (and a car which to the cognoscenti, doesn't have quite the cachet of the RS models) may seem expensive.
But as has been stated, they are in relative terms rare.
As I recall this piece of motoring perfection went for £55K or more twelve months ago ? www.gmundcars.com/cars/541/964turbos.html
And with hindsight I wish I'd bought it now.................

Was that the car that a girlfriend 're-shaped' with a 9 iron....?

Not sure if the 965 did feel the full force of a putter, but pretty sure the 959 did as it was spotted at Reading being straightened.
P.S. That'll teach him to fanny about with other fanny (not fannys' fanny mind)................if that makes sense
