According to the Wedge Bible 35.24 in 1989 and 11 in 1990. Only 37 420 SEAC and 18 450 SEAC.The really rare one is the 350i 2+2 - only 6!

37 Actual 450SE's

35 as stated above, plus two automatics that were built as specials in either '91 or '92. After "official" 450SE production finished at the end of 1990.

Rare beasties indeed !!!

Thanks guys, have bought Glenn Baker's car as pictured in the gallery and am generally happy with it, but the wood on the glove box has got damp at some point, any ideas for a replacement?

Mole Valley TVR (Redhill) have been selling off their old stock wedge parts at half price. Included in the list on their website is part 040U 484C Glovebox Veneered for a 400SE I think - £44.41 plus VAT. Don't know if they still have it. Direct Parts Line 01293 785878, Keith is the Parts Dept Manager

..yeah but who wants to drive around in a greenhouse?

350SE - only 25 (probably only about 10 left)
430SE - hmmmmm only 3 (aparently) built. Was told by the factory that this was probably the "best" all-round engine to have.
500SE Yum-Yum None made so how rare are the two I've seen? Bit of a beast I hear though.

I thought they made 40 of the 4 litre 450SE's ?

I could be mistaken though

Jason - I don't think they made any 4 litre 450SE's. I guess you mean 350SE's? - Well, I did hear they made a few more than 25 but have no evidence. I opened a thread on here to see how many were PHers and got about three responses. When I had mine I tried to start a register and found a total of about seven others. SH reckons it's in the 'teens the number that are left.

I'm wondering if the 35/37 produced (depending on what publication you read) include the 3 Canadian 450 SE's; I hear all 5-speeds, with PAS and A/C. Also, can't forget the 2 400SX's. Heard one recently sold at RT Racing, and if I had not bought my 450 SE, I would have been much interested in taking a look a the that machine.
