Just a quickie for you guys.

I may have been clobbered by a speed gun on the way home on friday night. From a legal point of view can these speed guns be used after the sun goes down?

I was under the impression that the talivans can't work at night? Not sure why i'm guessing because they can't see the numberplate to aim for?

As far as Handhelds go, some 18 months ago, a very brave Kent officer decided to use it in the dark, stood on the road at Margate and pointed. He was clobbered and killed by the car driver.

When I was in Office in the early days of HR8 etc I would not permit my lads to use after dark.

I suppose the same would not apply to devices in the back of a van parked clear of the road.
