Last year I sold my GT2. Today I bought another one...well not exactly another one...it's the same one. It's a year older, a few extra miles - and cost me a bit more than I sold it for. It's a bit like car dealing, but in reverse.

Anyone else done anything so stupid or am I alone?

On the positive side, it does have new mats, had all the geometry set up properly and after a short detour via Ferrari and Honda, I now know I'm not going to find anything as good for the money.

I'd also be interested in this too.

What spec is your car, MY, colour, comfort/clubsport etc.?

Welcome back to GT2 nirvana.

Sold my 993C4S last year and now regret it. Would buy it back if I knew where it was but I suspect it'd be £5K up now too. Still, you live and learn.

I bought my first 944 Turbo back from the guy I sold it too, then bought a different one, had it for a year and sold it, missed it and while searching for another found the second one advertised by the guy I sold it too, so bought that one back again too !

Swapped it in the end for a Boxster S and recently found out the guy who bought it from me wrote it off after 3 months - gutted !

Went back with the Ex for a while...does that count?!
She had more miles on, but with new mats and hair do, thought the ride was just as good..

No, I get a nose bleed if I go near an OPC.

That makes me feel a lot better. Last year I sold my 997 to help fund a house purchase. I managed 8 months in a Golf before buying another 997 last month. Same year. Slightly less mileage. But I paid £2k more than I sold my old one for. I console myself by adding my new one has BOSE speakers...

Why did it cost you more to buy it back a year on?

Because I'm an extremely generous buyer and seller.
