Was driving down the motorway once when the range rover infront decided to do an emergency stop because he saw a liveried up car. Now get this...it was liveried up as "Parish Police". What the heck are Parish Police and what powers do they have other than the Wrath of God. As I don't believe in God and all that so I just sped past
Police in St Helens (as part of the national Reassurance Policing Programme) have teamed up with Parish C of E School and launched the Parish Police Gang. The scheme is aimed at Year 3 pupils (aged 7-8 years) and communicates personal safety messages through innovative interaction with Community Support Officers and Police Officers in St Helens. The scheme runs for a 6 week period, between 3.15 –4.15 pm and each week a different topic is discussed. The first part of the session includes Officers speaking to the children about the particular theme, whilst the second part involves activities.
I dunno, but anything with activities in can't be good...
