Hi,

I'd like to order some mats for the inside of my new 2007 2.5 WRX.

They must be of a good quality, Black with say Grey piping (around the outside - if you catch my drift) and maybe something stitched into them (like "WRX" or "Prodrive".

If anyone knows of a decent supplier, please let me have the details.

I know some of these companies can be pricey, so a decent price would be preferable!

Cheers.

Only because no-one has answered your Q.........

Try one of the online made to measure mat places? I had a set for my Celica made up on Mats4U or somewhere similar. You can choose shape, quality of material, colour of edge stitching etc and IMHO were pretty good.

If you want genuine mats however, go to a dealer and bend over Ebay also has some occasionally.

If it's a new car you've bought from a dealer oh dear - you should always ask for a set of mats to be thrown in!

I've procured my new WRX from another source other than a main dealer and all in have saved around £6-7K on the list price - like for like.

Obviously, i'll get some cheap mats chucked in BUT i wanted some decent good quality ones!

I went on the mats4u website before and they looked good.... if not a little pricey.

Thanks for your help though.

I have a brand new set genuine subaru black WRX embossed mats - got them with my 06 blob eye which I wrote off last week. Dunno if they fit the new model (I imagine they would) but you are welcome to make me an offer. I'm based in the midlands.

They are like this http://195.212.11.58/IMGGB/WWW/subaru - except i think the wrx logo is blue... although not certain - could let you know when I get home tonight

Might be intereste.... the cars Urban Grey, with black and grey interior and i don't really want to introduce another colour if it too dominant. I'd also be interested to know if they would fit properly... ie. the new bigger 2.5 engine may mean the footwell is shaped differently?

Where in the Midlands are you and how did you write the motor off?

I'm near Lichfield. I'll have a look at them later and let you know about the colour.

In the meantime it might be worth a quick call to a scooby dealer to ask whether they would fit a new model car.

BTW... on the power too early in a 90 degree right hander, ran wide, hit a tree stump, rolled it.

Right I've had a look - they are dark charcoal grey with wrx embosed in a lighter grey with narrow blue piping around the letters. Underneath the WRX there is a small embosed 'impreza' in blue. To be honest the prevailing colour scheme is grey / silver with a hint of blue.

They look very generic in shape.
