Mike,
One of those two listed on Wirewheel.com is my 1983 Tasmin. Providing you keep the car in good shape, the depreciation isn't bad, in fact, lately, the values have started increasing slowly. It's hard to beat these cars for the dollar invested. Lots of smiles to the mile. If you have any questions about my car specifically, e-mail me at tasmin83@cox.net.

Note the full text of the ad from wirewheel, the red car of Marshall's is not in vero beach but at home with Marshall in VA. The owner of wirewheel (Hayes) Is very fair with his customers from my personal past experience. I also have seen marshalls car in person on more than one occasion and it is very, very nice. Good luck with your new TVR (Because once you drive one, you will own one).

will do Monte.....
But Noah, wehat do you think of the prices being asked, they seem a tad too high. Especially when you consider what they are asking for a similar car in the UK

Buy a proper classic - buy the Triumph. The TVR Wedge doesnt come close on style.
A TR6 won't be as reliable, but then again people won't laugh and point.

I had a TR6 - what a nightmare.

I had it for 2 years and only have it on
he road for 2 months.... and the spares
new fit.

I would not recomend it.

I spent a year looking - including driving one that Hayes (wirewheels) had for sale - before finally buying mine.

2 thoughts... as all the threads mention, get the best one you can find/afford (which is likely Marshal's). There are a lot of beaters out there but IMHO it's far better to let someone else do the restoration work. Unlike MGs (which I have bought cheap and restored) and Triumphs , there is no Victoria/Moss Motor catalogs, so parts are much harder to collect. (I'm still waiting for a bushing I ordered almost 2 months ago).

Also, since you live in Tampa, give some serious thought to how you feel about a/c, or the lack there of. Good luck Grady
