**Macca F1 Spotted
Discussion
I was walking along Cromwell Road and spotted something that looked a little ‘unique’ coming towards me. As it got closer I couldn’t believe it, it was silver Mclaren f1 this is the first time I have ever seen one on road.
As great a car it is though I have to be honest and say it really didn’t look much, it is very small, didn’t hear much noise off it unfortunately
and it didn’t have the presence of an Enzo or Lambo rumbling down the street. Was still great to see anyway, the number plate was MACC **

The one you saw was at Le Mans in 2005. It did look out of place with all the hooligans at Houx Annexe roundabout and it definitely stopped all the water guns and fireworks at least for 30 seconds. It was the first one I've seen on the road in normal traffic (well as normal as traffic gets at Le Mans
) - absolutely stunning car

It's called subtlety.
Everything about it is in a totally different league to the Enzo or Lambos. It's not brash, loud, in-your-face. It does not show off. It simply quietly slinks around, doesn't say much unless you choose to engage it in intelligent conversation (which is when it will prove itself), and at all times has a quiet but humble smirk that it is quite simply the best car in the world.
I'd love a Lambo, but the F1 is just on a different planet.
