Due to my neighbours incredibly crappy parking i find it difficult to reverse into my drive with car and trailer

Now two solutions present themselves to me. The first involves my old landrover his brand new BMW and a towrope.

The other is i attach the trailer to the front of the landrover and push the trailer down the road then once i reach the end of the road swap over to the back towball as normal.

Now i am sure this is probably illegal in some way but should i come across a plodsworth in the short few hundred meters what is he able to hammer me with?

On the contrary if you go to one of the landrover sites (www.lro.com) you can buy an attachment ball socket to bolt onto the front bumper bar to enable the movement of a pushed object in confined space.

Not of course a course of action for dojgn 90 on a M way.

Conside the massive Euclids (Special Type) - they push instead of pulling when on the move on public roads.

So basically legal excellent

Just no lights but i don't think there is many plods that are anal enough to pick me up on that and probably less hassle then i would get for dragging the neighbours car round the corner and dumping it.

Could you not have a pleasant word with your neighbour and ask him to park sensibly.......or you'll drag his heap of German crap out of the way.

Tried that but he is a BMW driver at a genetic level. So rather then argue till i am blue in the face i just get round the problem easier and less hassle

If you can reverse a trailer into a drive 6 inchs wider then the trailer from a road one car length wide you are more then welcome to try. Damn good chance you'd take the fence down. Pushing in is far easier and quicker especially in the dark and pissing rain.

Basically it is a cul de sac with one of those nice little offshoots to allow easy turning of bin lorrys etc and at the end of the offshoot there is two parking spaces one of which is actually mine but i never use it but he insties on parking about two car lengths from the back of the parking space so he is slap bang in the middle of the turning area. I have asked him not to but he argues that if he parks in the parking place he might get blocked in. I'm just waiting for a delivery lorry to tt his pride and joy.

He seems intent on inconveniencing you - so return the favour.

Everytime you come home and can't get in the drive because he's parked in the way, knock on his door and very politely and pleasantly explain he's causing an obstruction and could he please move his car.

Think he'll get p!ssed off before too long.
