As mentioned in earlier post, 6k miles '97 reg. No history whatsoever. All looks genuine and it cleans up a treat.

And another pic of inside my garage. Not quite 'fantasy garage' but still nice to walk into. Hope it works this time!!!

Early 916 (looked much better than the later 996)
Yamaha Diversion, possibly a 600
I think its a 600 Bandit
Then an old 400 Yamaha, whose model number escapes

Ah...nice bike...just bought it's little brother, though will hanker after the 916/996 till I'm old enough to have one!

Good luck and good choice.

1st 916
2nd 1200 bandit '99 model
3rd 600 bandit S '04 model
4th FZR 600 '87 model, not too keen on the rear end of these

I think 2 3 and 4 wil be covered in garage dust this summer. As long as Miss Italian money pit doesn't strike out

Lovely bike mate. I'd really like a 916 due to the looks and sound, but i've only had one twin and didn't really like it that much (though it was hardly a Duke!) - plus i'd never get those old reliability niggles out of the back of my mind long enough to really enjoy it to the full I don't think. As I said though, gorgeous bike and I hope you're really happy with it

Nice 916 - good to see an early one!

I've just rejoined the Ducati ranks last weekend - I last owned this 900SL 6 years ago and couldn't resist buying it again when she cropped up on eBay...

I've also finally learnt how to post a pic so here we go!
