Cheap(ish) Cerb plates from newreg.co.uk

Just incase anyone is interested in getting a cheap private plate - I've just bought a good cheap CERB plate from newreg, came in at just over 500quid all in and on the car. It's basically C3RB then a letter. i've got no affilliation with them I just think its a good deal and far less than I expected! And there are several left...

I hate to say it but I think NewReg are packaging up plates that are available direct from the DLVA for £399 all in, (inc the assignment fee). Look to be the same ones, Newreg market at £394 but then add on VAT and and assignment fee of £80 to come in at £542.95. If you have just bought it you might be able to get out of it and get it from DVLA direct.

At the motorshow I was fooling around on the DVLA stand as they had their website local.

Going direct to DVLA can save you a bit, I got N7OSY for the griff for £250, other places had it for about £200 but then had VAT and assignment fee on top, worked out about £350 from them.

DVLA have a lot of plates that others will sell you for more of your hard earned.If you find a plate you like elsewhere,then always look for it on the DVLA site before you commit to buy!
