It was me. I'm very impressed you spotted my car, I don't think I would have. The 340 went sideways off the line and collected a couple of cars. At one point the Aston was overhead the no roof 340 and the driver, David Harvey said he could have reached out and touched the sump plug as it flew over - very scary.
I was ahead of them on the grid. I went on to spend most of the race in 3rd but the guy doing the video in the yellow Ultima slowly hauled me in and eventually passed me with 1 or 2 laps to go. It woul dhave been my second podium at Brands.

I'm afraid it loks like Richard's going to have to carry the falg this year. He's got a stonking car and should be just about on a par with the yellow beastie.

Hi Paul

I have to admit that I've seen all your video's (with envy) that you have posted and I recognised the ultima and a few of the other cars (like the DB5's) so I just used a bit of logic that one of you were in there someware so I looked out for you.

Why will richard be flying the flag, I thought you have your new 3.0 lump waiting to go in (or will it not be ready for this season).

I also watched a good clip once when the Ultima broke a susspension arm at Silvastone I think.

Richards car was seriously fast last year. If he has had a few tweeks in his car(and his trouser department and his own self belief) I honestly think he should be racing in the British GT's this season.

My car still has its old and by now completely knackered 2.5. The 3.0 litre is in the wings to go in at some point.

Richards car is seriously fast and if I feed him enough Red Bulls he should p**s on everyone.

ouch - that looked expansive !

did the lotus loose traction and struggle to get it back under control ?

Paul - you always seem to qualify really well, why do the ulima's not do so well at qualifying

Yep, he fishtailed off the line and collected the other cars. After that they banned open wheel cars in those races.

It was a two driver endurance race and I think they had gremlins so that only the slowest did the qualifying. I did the whole lot myself and kept ahead of their first man but their second driver was putting in laps 4 seconds a lap faster than me - it was inevitable.
