My Noble developed a missfire a few weeks ago that didn't seem to want to go away

i changed plugs and swapped ign coils over but to no avail

today i took it for a long run and when i parked it up - the missfire was not so good

i left it a few hours and now its gone !!!!

it must have been some damp in the wiring somewhere and the long run has dried it all out

forgot how fast it was !

Could be the adaptives sorting themselves out??

could be "dirty" fuel injectors. I had a similar problem and had my injectors professionally cleaned by a fuel injection specialist, problem was cured after that.

Not long after I got mine I spent a night away parked outside and it lashed it down all evening. In the morning, after about 70 miles of driving normally it started coughing, spluttering and misfiring worse than a car with a tank full of Tesco's petrol. I drove it like that for around 5 miles and then stopped. After a few minutes I started it up again and it was fine. It's not done it since. Speaking to a couple of dealers afterwards and water was the theory that they both came up with.
