Driving games - Wheel and Pedal set-up
Discussion
Now I've seen some amazing set ups online so I'm not even going to try to compete with those, but here are a few shots of my new modest DIY approach to enjoying driving games.
I bought one of those tables that people use in hospital or for the elderly as the base, fixing some MDF to the legs at the bottom for the pedal setup and abit of cardboard under the wheel to give it a bit more stability and thats about it. It gives me the flexibilty to move chairs if I want as it is height adjustable, it also makes it easy for rolling out the way and storing so as not to piss off SWMBO!
Currently I've only been playing Forza on it, getting myself back in the swing ahead of Forza 2 in May. I have to say I love it, it makes life so much more fun and even without the force feedback in Forza there is enough built in resistance in the wheel to make it easier and more natural to drive. Roll on Forza 2 however!
I can imagine that some people here have the full seat and pedal set up complete with clutch etc, so let's see yours and make me jealous!
