VAT rulings

I understand that the Government is looking at removing VAT as a cost for colleges and education establishments - does anyone know anything about this?

Are they talking about the removal of Partial Exemption Input VAT restrictions on educational establishments?

VAT and Education is a very complex area.

Yeah I believe so - I was just talking to a potential customer at a college, and he said 'we're waiting to see if VAT gets taken away, and then we'll outsource' so I thought I'd ask here in the hope you'd pop up and give me some idea where I might find more news/informaion on this as it has quite substantial implications to my market place!!
