Do you have a specific dealer in mind? Or a specific brand you are interested in?

Not this one again. Most of this forum tend to agree on this one, so suggest u do a search for the name Amari and make your own conclusions....shouldn't be difficult.

For fear of another 'contract' on my head

- would you do business with someone who's been inside for ringing and selling stolen cars
- would you do business with someone who's half of their stock is a "one off special, spent it's life in hong kong" when it's actually a crashed UK car condemned by Lambo UK then had it's roof chopped off ?
- But I suppose if you're into that kind of 'royalty' thing , he is "Sheikh Amari, Crown Prince of Strangeways"

The sales side can be pretty diabolical as well, should we say some of these guys are VERY slow on the uptake and talk a lot of BS. Think they must have only been selling Yugo's the week before.

Why's that then? I'm not due a service yet but I was thinking about using them.

I used them for first time back in August when I got the Mas (after 5 years using Scothall for my Beemer). Customer service wasn't any where near as slick. The work that was done was ok, but my car had to go backwards and forwards twice before they did everything I asked. When it got to final bill time, they tried to charge £1000 more than I had been quoted. I queried it heavily and they corrected but it was a tad annoying!

They did apologise and pick the car up from work and give it a full valet free of charge. A JCT guy then returned it the same day, did his handover stuff and said he just take the courtesy car and he'd be on his way. I explained I didn't have a courtesy car and after a moment of shock, he began walking to the bus stop!

Shame there's no Maserati indie in Leeds. I'll be giving Autoshield a try in Manchester of which I've heard great things, but it's a tad laborious getting there and back from East of Leeds.

They love to add 000's to bills, bill for work they have not carried out. Change tyres and add oil without them needing to be done and without concent, oh and the last time i used them, they charged my 3 times for an MOT.

I also went in to buy a 360 Spider about 2 years ago. Was in the showroom about 35 mins with no one else in there, loads of salesman talking to each other. Some girl asked if i needed help, so she went off to get a salesman, he said he'd be with me in a minute. Never came back to talk to me. So the next day i drive to Graypaul and bought a brand new 360 Spider they had a cancelled order for and sent the receipt of purchase to JCT with a letter explaining. Never got a reply
