Well I have just landed myself a video camera to help capture footage of the shows I attend.
Does anyone have any advice on software that is easy to use? So far I have used the free software and Windows Movie Maker to create videos. But the editing is limited and hard to chop it exactly where i need it.
My first attempts from the Paris Tuning show can be seen here

Not the normal cup of tea for most on here.

Sony Vegas is supposed to be a bit more user friendly for the novice.

If you can't figure out how to do basic editing with Movie Maker then Premiere will no doubt have you scratching your head even more.

Ive always had good results and experiences with Cyberlink Powerdirector.

I have been using version three for sometime but recently upgraded to 5 which has a lot more features and is easy to use without being simplistic and will keep you busy for quite a while, but its a little unstable so make sure you back up your work regularly (unlike me who lost a complex project 3 times )

Again - Available on a bittorrent site near you thumbup
