Renault V10 engine warmup - by a Brit

This is a video shot of an older V10 F1 engine warmup. The Renault team is obviously very French, as are most of the mechanics - except, crucially the guy at the yellow podium with the laptop controlling the warmup - who is a Brit. See if you can hear the engine note improve about half way through the vid

Perhaps you would like to trawl last years Goodwood Festival of Speed threads and provide the link rather than typing that? Since the search function is not working allowing people to not check these things

Most of the Renault F1 team are British, they are after all based in the UK and were formally known as Benetton before Renault bought the team in 2000, retaining the Benetton name until 2002 when they formally entered as Renault F1. Benetton were formally known as Toleman, which entered it's first GP in 1981, having raced in F2 since the mid 70's, winning the F2 championship in 1980. Benetton bought the Toleman team in 1985. Vive le France.
