Just saw a TVR in Calgary being retored.

I guess I wont have the only TVR in town after all.
I went to a place yesterday called British Auto Specialists
here in town to see if they can service my wedge, get parts etc. I was asking
the owner if he'd seen any tiv's on the roads here and he said no,
but he told me he had one in the back of his garage. Of course
tiv's being as rare as they are here I told him to show me it.
It's hard for me to tell what model it is due to the state it's in.
Griff 2-400? Vixen?
I can't wait to see it on the road.

Yes, I did get to see the chassis. It's got surface rust throughout but nothing a wire brush or sandblasting wouldn't take care of. There was no rot per se. The chassis is a 100% compete
rolling chassis with the full drive train, brakes, suspension etc cetera.
The only thing I didn't get to see is the seats, dashboard, gauges glass etc.
I'm going to take my wedge there for its "Out Of Province Inspection" because a) they know British cars and b) it gives me the opportunity to go back and get the chassis number so I can turn the info over to whoever is archiving all this stuff.... and I know/read somebody is.
