993 Turbo VIN

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if this is a 993 Turbo VIN number (aside from the last 6 numbers!)?

WPOZZZ99ZTS000000

I have been offered what looks like a 993T from Japan but details are very sketchy so I wanted to check it is the real thing and not a look a like (which are quite common over there).

From my limited trawling of the net it seems that its a Carrera and not a Turbo after all.

Yes it is a turbo.....
The next two numbers should be "37"

Thanks for your reply. Next 2 numbers are 31 though so I guess its not a Turbo. Oh well!

Sorry, you are probably correct, nat asp Carreras may have had the same combination of letters/numbers, I don't know...

The Turbos for '96 model year "TS" were WPOZZZ99ZTS370001
