TVRCC Trackday at Castle Coombe

All,
I'm planning on doing the TVRCC trackday at Castle Coombe on the 20th of June. I've never done a trackday before so don't know what to expect. I'm with Mannings, so my car is insured for TVRCC trackdays. I will need to get a helmet , what about a quick inspection of the car by my local dealer before the day? Any tips? What's Castle Coombe like as a circuit? I've heard I need to increase my tyre pressure, they are on 16inch spiders so are normally 28psi, what should I up them to?
Can I get tuition on the day?
