Steering wheel problems on Grand Prix 4

I know GP4 is old hat, but finally got round to buying a steering wheel this weekend for my PC. Saitek R220. Not the best, but can't afford a G25 at the mo, and got it for a tenner. Had no problems at all setting it up on GTL, GPL, RFactor and GTR, but having a right game sorting it on GP4. It recognises the wheel, but the pedals only seem to act on one axis. Ie the accelerator is recognised, but the brake pedal is not. Are wheels compatible with GP4? Any tips? Thanks.

Had to download a wheel update so i could change from 3-axis to 2-axis.
