Electrical gremmlins help required

OK guys, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Used the Cerb today for the first time for ages, all OK first thing then indicators stopped working thought maybe a fuse and would check later, when I checked fuse is OK, then checked the wipers and then dont work either, again checked the fuse all seems well, now the boot wont open !!!!, managed to open it the "special" way and again fuse OK, any ideas please.

All that aside, what a car this is, thumbs up from a £70k Porker ! people lowering there windows to hear you go bye, sun shinning and all is well, well almost

Heard the other day that if the battery has got low it can send the electronics boxes on tilt. If you've not used the car in a while, has the battery got low in this time? One thing that happened to me was the box near the steering column went on the blink and that took my indicators out - resoldering the connections to it helped, but only for a little while, ultimately a new one was needed.

i doubt its the big fuse mine had blown and indicators ets all worked, more likely to be steering wheel function control box

Check the P.C.B. board on the steering coloum.There is a small plug for the indicators that slides on to a connector on the board.This has a habit of coming adrift.

Check the ribbon and the control boxes for the steering wheel buttons. May have come off or lose connection. Not sure about the indicators though!

DAS correct, sulking was the problem, have had my drive done at home and was unable to get the Cerb out for a couple of Months, used it yesterday for work drove about 200 miles and after a couple of hours everything now works a treat, the wonders on TVR.

You soon forget how truly great these cars really are.
