Hi there,

Has anyone out there built a pilgrim speedster? Don’t know much about the company but they have been around for a while. The Chesil speedster looks nice but they are way over my budget. Does anyone else do a 356 replica?

Thanks and all the best.

Martin.

There are a few that do replica 356's.... Chesil are head and shoulders above the rest, but you do pay a premium for it.

The Pilgrim speedster does appear to be improving over time - It will be interesting to see what the demonstrator looks like at Stoneleigh.

Pilgrim also do a 4-seater version of the 356 - based on a standard Beetle floorpan. It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen!

No No No, there are much uglier things than that, 4 seat Vindicator,Bobcat & Mongoose spring to mind, but I'm sure there are plenty more!

Their 904 rep is stunning too.

Hi,

Just wanted to get some more information about peoples experiences with building a speedster replica. Which kit manufacturer did you choose (e.g Chesil, Pilgrim etc)? How easy did you find the build process? If you don't mind me asking, overall how much did the build cost?

Many Thanks
