Am in the process of rebuilding my 1991 S3. Would welcome any help and advice re the above, especially about suspension setup geometry etc. Have replaced all the bushes, polly where available, rear shocks and springs, (tower View Race services standard S replaclemt), rear whell bearings, trailing arm on one side (original bent when attempting to remove bushes??!) De rusted and repainted most major parts as they go back. Will be setting up geometry soon so all info much appreciated. ONe small point, am finding it difficult to reinstall the fuel filter. The photo I took does not show it celarly and I am B*ggered if I can make it fit the bracket. Any other tips I may find useful?

IIRC there are TWO DIFFERENT SIZED fuel filters with the SAME PART NUMBER... so check you've got the right one!

Thanks Podie, should have said I am replacing the one that came off, it seems OK. However, the problem I have is finding how to fix it back to the chassis. I cannot make it go back in a way that looks either correct or secure.

Any help welcome.
