As some may know, Ive been working on launching a motorbike shop/online.

Can I have some ideas as to where PHers hang out on the 'net? I want to get a few places to put my banners on, and besides the sites I use myself, can you give me some ideas the average motorbike nut/newbie tends to head for?
mail to stuart@bikesport-uk.fsnet.co.uk

thanks

Post a link to your banner and I will stick a link on my site when I get round to it.

Edit: It not a big or popular site or anything but its free!

As soon as you can you should set up an affiliate scheme (says Ted, who still hasn't done it himself ).

Then you'll get people putting your logos on their sites in the hope of making a few quid.

Be smart about how to get exposure on sites. Offer clubs special offers, issue press releases to the motorbike press, offer prizes for competitions. You can get a hell of a lot of exposure without paying for it.

www.visordown.com is a pretty big motorbike forum, the owner is a nice young lad named Ben Cope. He already has a card scheme running with quite a few shops involved.

Or for a bargain price, with a target audience, maybe book some Trade Stand space at PistonFest 2003.
OK, a slight ad, but I know the boss!
