The guys who made mine are working out of Dulford Automotive.
It's reassuringly substantial.
Two points though....
First, the chrome....
When mine was made I wanted it chromed, but they were unable to locate a tank big enough to get it in. Was an option to make the rear supports removable so it would go in a tank but nobody felt that was sensible. Mine is powder coated in silver and looks great.
Second, mounting points.
No point in having a roll bar unless it's properly mounted to the chassis.
My chassis had two plates welded into the rear corners of the outriggers for bolting the roll bar sides onto. The supports go through the rear bulkhead, through the boot and bolt onto the top of the suspension struts. Very substantial and only really achievable because the body was off the car at the time. There are easier mounting options, I think there is a section on rollbars in the bible.

What he said ... except Im on my second style bar.
My first one was stainless steel, and also powder coated.. the result was that the stainless rippled on the corner bends, and I didnt like the fact the bar was thin in diameter,
Bar number 2 is mounted to the same places as NACAD's except I have the seat belts removed, the bar sits further back on the rear outriggers, and the steel is a lot bigger.
My Bar is painted in 2PAC and is metallic blue to match the car.
Rollcentre will do one for about 250 quid, but you'll probably have to paint it yerself. Shouldnt be any welding to do unless you get a full cage, which would absolutely wreck thge intoerior. Im currently installing one fo Rollcentres cages into a Vixen.
Its a really good piece of kit, but a sod to install!

Hi Andy. Not yet. Boo hoo. Naah, im building a S3 Vixen at the moment for the Father-in-law (although it looks like being the wifes car in the end). 2 Tivs between me and the missis. Scary........
Tower View will supply and fit a Rollcentre one for 500 quid or so. 250 quid to fit a rollhoop (250 quid for the part) to a Wedge is certainly NOT daylight robbery considering the work involved. I'd do it myself if it were my car, but I'm a sick weirdo with a propensity to put myself through more automotive related mental anguish than strictly necessary.
Im feeling the pain with the Vixen cage, but nearly there!
Wedge is coming out to play on 21st April. Is there a southern convoy to WedgeFest?!?

Tower View were charging £335 plus VAT for the Rollcentre bar/fittings in 2003 and it cost approx £400 to be fitted by them to my wedge in 2005 so unless prices are falling I think you will be looking at alot more than £500. It's not always a straightforward job!
