Well guys, after 13 years out of a Mini I have finally found a tidy one after many wasted journeys.

Bought a 2000/X Cooper MPi (non Sportpack) BRG, 1/2 leather, totaly mint & unmarked & unmolested (no really it is)

Collect next Saturday.

IM SO EXCITED

Nice one - my brother had a 2001 sportspack a couple of years back, it was great!

Don't forget to post pics when you pic her up!

I really must make the time to get some work done on my mini and get it back on the road.

Well done. I know what you mean when you say wasted jounrney. There are an awful lot of "restored" Minis out there at silly money which have just been bodged and blown over to look all shiny for re-sale.

well, sent a pal around 60 miles to veiw a mini for me yesterday, it was about 200 miles away from me and I dont have a car at the moment so was the easiest option.

thought I had found the right car, tried my hardest to let them have everything on their terms, after a few days of more terms in their benifit the deal fell through today after I felt it only right i have a little somthing in my favour (have the rust fixed at the back end, which was agreed to be deducted from the cost since they cant get the car ready for me to actually buy for another 2 weeks)

if anyone is looking to buy one and would like to know the car id spent a couple of weeks trying to buy PM me through my profile as youd be better off not wasting your time with the extra negotiations.

ive already found another, going to view it myself tonight, and its 2 grand cheaper than the other with less miles .. .. .. .. rolleyes

edited to add,

he has ironically listed it again in the classifieds with a big strictly no time wasters message at the bottom, love it, if the car was ready for sale more than a week ago, and he actually wanted to sell it, It would have been bought by now .. .. .. strange how he couldnt sell it to me for another two weeks also, but hey, no timewasters right!

Well pleased with my find, from what I can tell I paid £1500-£2000 under book for her, OK the syncro is slow on 2nd (bought a rebuilt box already for £200) but that's it.

She is really mint.
