Nice.

Its been a while since I priced up USB memory, I could do with more myself.

I remember the days when 2000 times less memory cost 20 times more.

Roll on the days when an 8000 Gb card will cost 18p hehe

Could you tell me the difference between the Ultra 11 and the Extreme 111 is? Brother asked for some extra cards for his birthday, said he "currently has Sandisk Ultra 11 1gb" but if the extreme 111 is worth the extra...

How the hell do they do the stuff so cheap? is it all legit?!

It's all about the transfer speeds. Ulrta II is 10mb per sec I think. Then it goes Extreme III at 20mb per sec and then the new Extreme IV at 40mb per sec I think.

I'm sure someone will confirm this.

I have just brought an Ultra II for £16.99 from Play, thats for a 2GB CF. They seem pretty good for memory cards, havent found cheaper for genuine Sandisk.

Could anyone also tell me what delivery times are like from Play, or 7day? Think I'll get a few, but the ones for my brother are needed by friday.

Just had an email from Warehouse Express saying the prices of their Sandisk cards have come down, not as cheap as Play.com but heading in the right direction

eg

2GB Extreme III CF £28.99
4GB Extreme III CF £46.99
8GB Extreme III CF £90.99
12GB Extreme III CF £136.99
16GB Extreme III CF £181.99

Ian - Just got the same email so went to have a look. Then did a quick price comparison and Amazon were even cheaper! Can't believe how much CF card prices have fallen since i bought my last card.

Anyhow, ended up ordering the 4Gb Ultra IV + 40mb/sec firewire reader for £117. Nice

Why does everyone favour Sandisk over the other big names?

I've just a 4gb CF card from Mymemory for £18.00 with a lifetime warranty

www.mymemory.co.uk/memory/MyMemory/4GB/133X/PRO/Compact/Flash/Card

Seems to work well - or am I missing something with not buying branded cards?

I have a 2 gig card from mymemory. one of their 133x cards. slow 24s to transfer 6 raws conmapred to 11s for my extreme3 and I've had more corrupt images from the mymemory one than I have from my entire time with a digital SLR. extreme backup only

My estimation of 7dayshop just went down when I emailed them to say I'd found memory cards cheaper and if they would price match. Their response was "We do not price match"

Despite them having a section:
