DVD to Ipod - how?

Is there anyway i can save a DVD on to my laptop and then upload it to my Ipod?

For info the DVD is not write protected.

DVD is video and audio, ipod is music ?

The way I do it is DVD Decrypter & then Videora to convert it to iPod. Then import the video file into iTunes & the job is done.

Both free downloads & easy to use.

Thanks for the help - really appreciated.

I have used the DVD decrypter which is great and has done as i needed but it has saved the file as a folder titled 'VIDEO_TS' and when i open that i just get lots of exe. icons titled BUP,ICO and VOB.

How do i then convert this folder into a playable film rather than exe. files?
