dulford results!

after a very worthwhile trip to dulfords today the car is now tuned up properly after fitting new cam and a few bits and pieces over the winter, here are the results

so the baby is now classed as a monster, and along with the new Gaz shocks its like driving a completely different car, absolutly bl**dy fantastic

a big thank you to the dulfords crew, Richard, Big Colin, and the lady who`s name I can`t remember, but made sure I was fed and watered during my stay, a truly first class professional service.

Makes me sick when i see results like these, after £7500 i wish( you guys in the green position are risking fire by the way !!). Clive how about some track rod end protectors. Mine have perished again, heat from the discs, third time i have had to replace them. I could make some myself out of ally, just an idea for you !

Why do you ask that?? I only had it done yesterday, but in january it was on interpro`s rollers, abandoned after 4000rpm as she was pinking, hence the need for a full tune up at dulfords.

simon, the cam is the piper 285.

dave, make up some switches mate and sell them at the growl, will chat with you when I`m back home this week

I didn`t realise how crap my standard beilstien shocks were, hadn`t really driven the car much since last october, after getting it all back together and driving it I knew they were terrible, and the first thing richard and colin at dulfords did was take it for a spin before getting out the spanners, and they were amazed really that I had got there in one piece on friday morning!!
to be fair other makes of shock could have been fitted and I would have noticed a remarkable difference in handling because my old ones were so bad, but I am very impressed with the handling and also the build quality of the shocks themselves, so yes I would definately recomend them, especially as they are half the price of nitrons, and they suit my needs perfectly.
