I have this morning cleaned all around the throttle inlets removing all excess oil and grease after someone on here suggested that it help especially when started e.g no throttle needed and better idle....anyway all and I think it can't be bad thing, however when I start the car is now idling around 2000rpm....

can anyone advise how I can adjust the idle or do I risk upsetting the setup ??

TIA
Scott

i yhink you may have inadvertadly jammed the butterflies open slightly. you'll have to look and see to make sure they are closed before putting airbox back on. each throttle has an adjuster between it and the next and can get jammed slightly open. you need to jiggle them all a bit until they shut. don't under any circumstances start altering any grub screws or lock nuts or your throttle balance will be lost...atb...phil

Hi there thanks for the advice, bit late I am afraid there is grub screw dead centre along the throttle rail and I adjusted this and all seems fine now
