interesting. I put mine the other way round. Have I done it wrong? This was based on the fact that I would have thought you would want pressure on the up stroke. I know I ignored the arrows, i was confused by them.

My perception of the TVR windscreens is that the wipers always worked well on the forward movement but really struggled on the backward movement, probably due to the curvature of the screens, okay if it is pi..ing down with rain the movement is unhindered, but when it is drizzle, cleaning spray, etc etc, the forward movement cleans the screen but the return motion is on a dry screen and subsequently puts adverse pressure on the delicate wiper motor.

regards,

James Sim.

I've just fitted the same wipers to my Tuscan too. You've got them on the wrong way round. They won't work properly that way round and may even cause the blades to lift at speed.

To switch them round, just unclip the "clip" from the wiper, turn it 180 degrees and clip it back on. You can now refit them to the car the correct way. Job done

measured the old ones and they were 20.5 inches, so went for some 20's

The standard Tuscan wipers are 21" so I went for the 21" models.

Thanks guys. Think this is a mod worth doing as the pipe stuff is a mess.

Having fitted the same blades a while back, I fitted as shown in the pic because if fitted the other way round the little notch in the clip on the wiper does not engage in the hole in the end of the wiper arm, but I have to agree the shape of the blade makes more sense fitted the other way round. There is an arrow on the blade when it comes out of hte box, but no instructions as to which way the arrow should point!

hmmm very interesting - I was looking at the wife's TT which has this type of wiper wondering how I could mod some for the Chim - but this seems much easier...

think i was sent a LHD set, but 10 min with a stanley knife modded the blades to be the correct way round, with out any noticible side effects.

an other place to get them (hopefully RHD) is here:

I seem to be alone in quite liking the jets out of the wipers. Unfortunately the pipe has just come out at the bottom of the wiper (I think it goes into the spring?). Anyone know how top fit it back in easily?

There's some retrofit bosch aeroblades from ebay username "clearwipe", they do them for all sorts of cars but i'm not sure which ones would fit a Tuscan though.
