Took these late last year and have had time to process a few this afternoon.

C&C please rotate

Cropped at the top and bottom to make the panorama effect. It's probably my favourite out of these three. Curves, levels, and a touch of sharpening also.

Straight out of the camera except sharpened slightly. Love the clouds in this.

Just a touch of sharpening

love the first one, amazing. Think the flag interferes a bit much in the other two, however that is my novice opinion.

I'd agree with that. Beautiful pic #1!

I think the flag works great with #3! Not in the other two as much, in my opinion. All are vey good though

Thanks! I was trying to use the flag for foreground interest, which I am led to believe gives more depth to a picture. Can't remember where I read that . In this case I think its good advice.

I also think it balances the 1st one quite well. I used the "rule-of-thirds" while taking the picture to position the flag and sun, but cropped out some dead space at the edges in PS, along with the top and bottom. Lesson learned - pay attention to the whole scene, not just the subject

I realise the first is more of an "image" than a "photograph", now that it has been through PS, but I'm happy with it.

I cant remember the 2nd and 3rd looking like that when I took them - does Adobe bridge or Rawshooter do anything to images automatically that I don't know about?
