hi guys this is my first posting and wondered if anyone could help,before i make myself look stupid at the dealership tommorow what delay should i expect if ordering a new 430 f1 spider or coupe,it used to be 3 years please tell me its still not that because if it is is will be on the hunt for a demo one or similar hence the user name.Anyone know of one at a dealer new or nearly new in red with creme leather tan leather at a push.Thanx for looking.

I wouldn't go for a new one at this point, TBH. With it having been out a few years already, I'd rather put my name down for the replacement when it comes out.

The 2007 car isn't an F1. But it would be a new car without you having to join the the waiting list.

I e-mailed all dealers 5 weeks ago. Spiders are minimum 2 years max 3 years. Coupes are up to 2.5 years but I did get offered an October build slot. Finally got a May build slot due to cancelled order.It makes no difference whether you want F1 or manual.

Mark, I am sticking to no more than 2 forums at any one time (it just gets far to time consuming otherwise). Yep, had the Gallardo for 14 months now - a World Record for me and testament to how good the car is - still managed to hop in and out of a fair few others motors over the last year though! I'm still on PureGT mainly (did you ever get invited in over there ? - if not email me and I will sort it). I'm still trying to reduce my lappy bar issues though

14 months!!! that will have saved you about 30 grand in depreciation, swapping cars every 3 months can be painful

trying to find a car i can keep for more than 5 mins.
