Windscreen Seal

It looks like from the centre on the top of the screen to the passenger side the seal around the windscreen is coming away.
I'm a bit concerned as if too much comes away is there a chance the screen will fly out under very heavy breaking or a crash?
Is this going to comprimise the structure of the car? - I ask this, as I've noticed a lot more flexing / creaking sounds when going over speed-bumps and I have to admit I am a tad concerned as I guess the screen & roof form quite a part of the structure?

The 'seal' is purely cosmetic,and is just stuck to the surface to finish the screen off.This of course doent mean that the noises you hear aren't a problem with the screen.If you have any concerns then i'd get it checked out asap.
