I am looking for a sat nav to go into my very noisy convertibe. The main reason I want a sat nav is so I can take cross country A and B road routes of my choosing with out having to look at a map at every other junction. I want to be able to program my route and pick way points. I need it for UK use. It would be also useful if I could program points of interest like Shell, BP and leaded petrol stations.

As my car is noisy I will be relying on the screen to give directions and with the roof down hopefully with the sun shining I need a good visible screen.

Speed camera locations would be useful but not essential.

I do not need traffic reports or telephone connection.

Cost is not an issue but obviously the cheaper the better.

The Tom Tom Europe is one I have seen, any other suggestions?

Thanks

When I say noisy I mean if you are above 70mph conversation is impossible even if shouting!
