a friend of mine has a Glanza turbo which is running a bit rich i think. he's only getting around 200 miles a tank on the low boost setting.

the car is bod standard engine wise. any ideas what could be the problem? and if there's any simple things to try first?

i don't know much about these cars but is there an ECU reset that might help? and could the timing be out maybe?

any advice would be great!

cheers

Hi
the O2 sensor{Lambda sensor}on the exchaust may need replacing, and one thing else the 1.3 turbo engine does really drink fuel if you boot it as well the tank is very deceptive there is loads left in tank even when the guauge says empty .I am getting mine replaced in few days because i have changed the exchaust on my car to a aftermarket {Blitz} full system but in process in fitting it they damagaed the sensor.

He should really be using 98 ron or higher as its an import. Another vote to change the Lambda sensors first
