Herts and Beds TVR meet 18th March

In the words of Monty Python……..
And now for something completely different.
The meeting on the 18th will be same time same place i.e. 11.30 at the George IV Baldock but for those that fancy a bit of a run into the meeting Steve Hughes (Hoover) has organised the following:
Meeting Place :- South Mimms Service Station @ 10:30 for a departure at 11:00... run time approx 45mins
Use this time to visit toilets, have a coffee, fuel up if necessary... and general chat and briefing on the route.
Handy Tip to avoid speed bumps. Follow signs for fuel and at the roundabout which you go 360deg for fuel take first exit which leads into services
car park avoiding the speed humps.
Route is A1 North via Hatfield Tunnel to Welwyn Garden City.
some interesting wiggly bits and some straight stuff
Stevenage A1 to Baldock.
Maps should be available on the day if any one wants them. (hopefully... Steve will have time to sort them).
This route gives a mixture of Dual Carriageways of smooth blacktop (laid within the last few years) and some more relaxed driving through some scenic villages.
All we ask is that courtesy is given to other road users, and that in the villages everyone behaves.
Can those that will be going to South Mimms let me know so that I can give Steve some idea on the numbers.
