Slow Computer

Hi,

My computer seems to be getting slower these days when on the net. Some times pages just will not load. It was very fast when new, so I know the PC is ok.

I suspect Norton anti virus might be playing a part but this is only a hunch.

Has anyone got any tips to improve performance.

Thanks, I had tried most of that before except for the defrag.
The system always said a defrag was not required. I just did one any way and the pc now seems a lot quicker, thanks
