Rivermead Garage Crewkerne Somerste - Experiences????
Discussion
My new pride and joy decided to dump the contents of its cooling system all over the road on Sunday whilst I was down visiting the in-laws in Somerset. I decided to have it recovered to my fathers place, just down the road, rather than back home to Hertfordshire and as a happy coincidence there appears to be a small garage advertising themselves as TVR specialists in the same town. Rivermead Garage Crewkerne.
The car is being taken there this morning where they will take a look at it. I think it is just a split (or holed) radiator and that I caught the problem before the engine got too hot and did any damage.
Anyway, i just wondered if anybody had experience of these guys. I feel a little helpless with the car so far away and me unable to see what is going on.
Cheers,
Alex

I usually reply to these threads, so I will again.
I've been using them for the last 2 and a half years, and the previous owner also used them for a few years before that too. I've never had any problems and they've always been honest (and cheap ~£39 per hour)
You quite often see one or two TVR's parked up there along side the usual stuff.
I'm down there this afternoon (
ing accelerator cable snapped on the way to the pub - not impressed!) if you want me to have a look.

The car should be with them now (Blue Griff 500) so I should hear the assesment from them later this afternoon. Everything should be OK, but perhaps you could go and say heelo to my baby for me and reassure her that I will see her again soon
