GTA Vice City or GTA Vice City Platinum

Could someone please advise what is the difference between Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto Vice City Platinum?

I'm being told by a retailler that the only difference is the case artwork but as they retail for £24.99 and £14.47 respectively on Amazon, I am assuming there must be a more important difference.

Nope, the platinum one is just a re-release in a different box. They do it for a lot of titles that have reached platinum-selling status, there will be no difference whatsoever about the game inside.

As Steve says, platinum is just Playstation re-releasing old titles at a low price.

The game will be identical.

no difference in the game whatsoever, but you probably already know that now!
i started playing VC again today, still such a great game. if you want something a bit different, get Vice City stories. same location, different lead character and missions
but still very good. and cheap too for a new game (£14.99! )
