S2000 Type R

Can anyone tell me if Honda are planning a Type R version of their S2k roadster?
I found this on the internet but have heard and seen nothing since.

I think my S2's great although it does feel like it could do with a few more cc's and a couple more cylinders...

Ah, shame... A 3.0 ltr and 360bhp S2k would've been right up my street.. (and on my drive!!)

oddly enough, yesterday theyve announced a new S2k CR "Club Racer". theres not been much in the way of details yet, but people are expecting it to be lighter, with better tuned suspension and things. Not likely to have a new engine at this stage in the product life cycle unfortunately...

Try swopping it for a V8 then if you need more horses and cylinders.

V8 would be nice.. A friend's selling his TVR Griffith 500, but it leaks like a sieve and only runs now and again!
